Description
2026 Bad Boy MZ Series 54-Inch Zero-Turn Lawn Mower — 24 HP Kohler Performance
Step into the world of professional-grade mowing with the Bad Boy MZ Series 54-Inch Zero-Turn Lawn Mower. Unlike many residential mowers that rely on lightweight stamped steel construction, the MZ Series is built alongside Bad Boy’s commercial machines using the same rugged manufacturing standards that have made the brand famous for durability and performance.
Designed for homeowners who want to maximize efficiency without sacrificing quality, the MZ Series combines a powerful Kohler engine, heavy-duty steel construction, and responsive zero-turn maneuverability to deliver a mowing experience that’s as enjoyable as it is productive.
Power comes from a dependable 24 HP Kohler 7000 Series KT724 engine featuring 747cc displacement and an air-cooled design. This V-twin engine provides the muscle needed to tackle thick grass, challenging terrain, and larger residential properties with ease while maintaining smooth, reliable operation.
The mower’s 54-inch fabricated cutting deck is constructed from 3/16-inch (7-gauge) all-steel material and features reinforced edges for exceptional durability. Unlike stamped decks that can flex and wear over time, the formed and welded deck is engineered for long-lasting performance and superior cutting quality.
For smooth and reliable operation, the MZ Series utilizes dual Hydro-Gear® ZT 2200 integrated drive systems, providing responsive zero-turn steering and dependable power delivery. This allows operators to maneuver around landscaping, trees, flower beds, and obstacles with precision while significantly reducing mowing time.
The convenient foot-pedal deck lift system combined with a dial-style deck adjustment makes changing cutting heights quick and effortless. With cutting heights ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 inches, the mower can easily adapt to varying lawn conditions and personal preferences.
