Description
Cub Cadet Ultima Series ZTS1 42 Zero-Turn Riding Lawn Mower
Experience superior control, stability, and professional-quality results with the Cub Cadet Ultima Series ZTS1 42 Zero-Turn Mower. Designed for homeowners who demand premium performance, this innovative mower combines a powerful 22 HP Kohler 7000 Series V-Twin engine, a rugged fabricated cutting deck, and Cub Cadet’s exclusive Synchro-Steer® technology to deliver exceptional handling and cutting precision.
Unlike traditional zero-turn mowers, the ZTS1 42 features Synchro-Steer® 4-wheel steering technology, providing enhanced control and stability, especially when mowing hillsides and uneven terrain. This advanced steering system allows all four wheels to work together, helping maintain straight-line tracking and confidence on slopes up to 20 degrees.
Power comes from a dependable 22 HP / 747cc Kohler 7000 Series V-Twin OHV engine, engineered for smooth, quiet operation and reliable performance. The twin-cylinder design delivers ample power for demanding mowing conditions while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency and durability.
The mower’s 42-inch AeroForce™ fabricated deck is designed to produce a clean, even cut with minimal clumping, creating a professional-looking finish across your lawn. Its durable steel construction stands up to years of residential use while providing excellent airflow for superior grass processing.
Dual hydrostatic transmissions allow smooth, responsive operation and deliver forward speeds of up to 7 MPH and reverse speeds up to 3.5 MPH, helping you complete mowing jobs quickly and efficiently.
Whether you’re maintaining large open spaces or maneuvering around landscaping features, the ZTS1 42 offers a combination of power, stability, and comfort that sets it apart from conventional riding mowers.
